ONWARD: Logo design
This project was volunteer work for a Catholic youth Oceanic conference for organisation CFC, Youth For Christ. I was asked to work on graphics for the marketing and the designs behind this big, Oceanic event.
The key idea here was to brainstorm ways to show not only Oceanic symbols but also the monstrance, a Roman Catholic vessel that displays the consecrated eucharist.
Final with background. The compass in the background was meant to be symbolic of the monstrance in the design brief as well as relevant to the theme of "moving ONWARD".
Playing around with the Southern Cross star.
Eucalyptus leaves, symbolic of Australian botany. Not broad enough so it got rejected.
